#1824 18th/19th Century Chinese Apple Green Glazed Vases, *Price on Request* , *售价待询*

Only 1 left in stock

A pair of porcelain vases, each with globular body and tall cylindrical neck, covered with an even, dark, slightly irridescent apple-green crackled glaze. One of the vases has a white foot rim and is white deep inside; the other is "burned" (iron oxide) orange on the foot rim and inside. These items were made in China, in the mid Qing dynasty, during either the late 18th or early 19th Century. The collector's labels on the bases carry the name W.A. Stewart who is recorded as having worked for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank. These vases were purchased in a UK auction in 2003. Condition - excellent - there are some surface scratches  but there are no damages and there has been no restoration. 19cm (7.5 inches) & 20cm (7.9 inches) high.
