Only 1 left in stock

A hand thrown porcelain vase (originally of Yan Yan or 'phoenix tail' shape) attractively painted in shades of under glaze blue with a prunus blossom pattern against a 'cracked ice' ground. This item was made in China in the late 17th or early 18th Century during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722).

Condition: the top section of this vase is missing and there are minor hairline body cracks (barely visible on the outside) and two small burst bubbles with associated brown discoloration. There has been no repairs or restoration.

14cm / 5.5 inches high; 10cm / 4 inches across.
