A Chinese porcelain rouleaux shaped vase in 18th Century "Famille Rose" style depicting a lady seated on rockwork in a garden setting and with a poem describing the scene to the reverse. The rim, footrim and shoulder are decorated with bands of very finely painted over glaze blue enamels.
The base carries a four character iron red Qianlong (1736 - 1795) mark but this item was made later, in the 1930s, during the Republic period (1911 - 11949).
Condition : excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration.
