A carved sandstone Khmer relief fragment in (Mahayana Buddhist) Angkor Wat style depicting a Buddha head under two parasols, flanked by a pair of fans and mounted on stand. This item was carved in what is now Cambodia, probably during the reign of King Jayavarman VII (1181–1215 AD).

Condition - there are chips, the edges are damaged (please view enlargements) and there is weathering and associated iron oxidation to the surface.

56cm long; 35cm wide; 18cm deep.

12-13世纪吴哥时期高棉砂岩浮雕
一件(大乘佛教)吴哥窟风格的高棉砂岩浮雕断片,用支架固定于座上。两个华盖下有一菩萨,菩萨两侧各有一蒲扇。作于现在的柬埔寨,应为阇耶跋摩七世统治时期(公元1181 - 1215年)。
品相:有缺口,边沿有些许损伤(见图),表面有风化痕迹及连带的锈斑。长56厘米,宽35厘米,厚18厘米。
请注意:很遗憾的是,由于此件过重很难邮寄,我们无法将其运往国外。
