Condition: there is a production crack running down his back from the left ear to the top of the left leg and part of the item he is holding in his right hand may be missing.

Condition: excellent. The circular copper base is probably a later addition.

Only 1 left in stockA well carved, painted, terracotta pipe made by skilled potters of either the Bamessing or the Babungo on the Cameroon Grasfields.Originally, only Kings, chiefs and court officials would have smoked prestige pipes of this kind but the potters were quick to create these pipes for sale to Europeans even before the colonial period.The pipe portrays a dignatory with his elaborate hat (possibly beaded). There are pipe heads of this type on display in the Liverpool World Museum. This item was probably made early in the 20th Century.Condition is very good. There are chips to the headress (please see pictures) and wear to the painted areas.Height 6.75 inches(17cm) -

Only 1 left in stockA rare, well patinated, plain and un-decorated ivory Oliphant (hunting horn) probably made in what is now Angola or the Democratic Republic of Congo during the 19th or early 20th Century.
Condition: there are age related cracks and yellowing; the longest crack has been stabilized with glue. There are no losses.

Only 1 left in stockA souvenir "Zulu Girl" doll with baby on her back made in Apartheid South Africa during either the 1950s or 1960s.
Condition: there has been age degradation to the surface of the plastic in many places but there are no damages and all the beadwork decoration is intact.
