#1705 17th/18th Century Chinese Buddhist Lion Incense Holder - Kangxi
An "egg and spinach" biscuit-glazed porcelain incense/taper stick holder modelled in the form of a Buddhist guardian lion. These items were made both for the domestic market and for export to Europe circa 1690-1710 during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor.
Condition - There has been an old glued repair to the upper jaw.
Height 6.3 inches (16 cm).
