A Chinese porcelain female Buddhist Lion painted with unevenly distributed crackular turquoise glaze. This item was probably made in the 17th Century during the late Ming or early Qing dynasty.
Condition: very good - there are some small under glaze firing cracks and there is glaze loss to both eyes . There is 'kiln grit' to the base of the type often found on Wanli period export ceramics. No external cracks and no repairs or restoration..
