#1709 Whitefriars Glass Textured Cylindrical Bark Vase circa 1967 - 1974

A bright orange cylindrical mould-blown relief-textured "bark" vase (pattern no. 9690 designed in 1966 by Geoffrey Baxter for the Whitefriars Glassworks, Wealdstone, near Harrow, London. The selenium based "Tangerine" colour was difficult to control and consequently was only produced between the years 1967 to 1974.
