#0018 18th Century Chinese Dehua Blanc de Chine Chinese Export Figure Group SOLD to SPAIN - August 2008 售至西班牙 - 2008年8 月

A rare Dehua 'Blanc de Chine' porcelain figure group depicting two kneeling women and a crucifix - made in the 18th Century for export to Europe. An identical piece - part of the P J Donnelly bequest - is currently on display in the British Museum. Condition; There are two light hairlines visible on the front and a firing crack following the mold join on one side. Only traces of the original gilding remain.
