#1743 Early 20th Century 'Lockable' Players Tobacco Tin, Castle Factory Nottingham, circa 1900 - 1930 SOLD 2018

A Players Navy Cut cigarette tin made in the early 20th Centuryat the Castle Factory, Nottingham.Unusually the cover has an integral lock which is designed to grip the inner lip of the tin.

Condition: age-worn and the lock is stiff but the tin still retains most of its original paper label.

8.5 cm / 3.25 inches diameter.
