#0210 17th Century Chinese Export Wucai Gu Vase (neck reduced) Kangxi reign (1662-1722) **Sold** to China - March 2010 售至中国 - 2010年3月

An unusual beaker or gu shaped vase simply and strikingly decorated with wucai overglaze enamels. The central section is of a 'rope twist' form possibly copying turned wood. This item was made for export to Europe during the reign of the Kangxi emperor - 1662 to 1722.

Condition - the neck has been reduced by 3.5 cm and there is a light 3cm hairline running from the rim. No further damages and no restoration.

8.8 inches (22.5cm) high, 4 inches (10cm) diameter across the base.
