A porcelain figure of Guanyin seated on a lotus 'throne' attractively painted with bright famille rose / fencai enamels. This item was probably made in south China during the reign of the Jiaqing Emperor (1796-1820).
Condition - there has been extensive restoration and re-painting. The hands have been broken off and replaced. The head has been broken off and re-fixed and there has been another break to the middle. There has also been restoration to the lotus petals.
