An attractive Chinese soapstone carving of the Daoist Immortal Zhong Hanli. This item was made circa 1790-1820 either late in the Qianlong reign or during the reign of the Jaiqing Emperor.
Condition very good. There are natural flaws in the stone and much of the original paint can still be seen.
