#0240 18th Century Chinese Export Famille Rose Teapot & Cover **Sold to China - January 2009 售至中国 - 2009年1 月

An 18th century "famille rose" teapot with original cover decorated with enamels in "mandarin palette". This item was made for export to Europe during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736 - 1795).

Condition - there is a small chip to the rim of the cover, a minute chip to the spout and an old stapled repair to the handle. The gilding to the finial and the spout is worn.
