Only 1 left in stockThe original pastel portrait, by Dorothy Colles, which was commisioned for a "Trufood" advertizing poster. Dorothy Colles (1917-2003) was, according to an obituary in the Independent newspaper,"gifted in portraits of children". She has exhibited through the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painting. There is a water 'splash' above the head of the boy which we have not attempted to restore. Otherwise excellent condition. The picture 19.5 inches by 17.3 inches (49.5cm by 44cm)

A very rare Afriacan style "Crucifiction" form bronze sculpture by post-war Liverpool Artist Arthur Dooley (1929-1994) and probably made during the 1960s.
We are not aware of any other bronzes in this form by the Artist.
We have a Certificate of Authenticity for this item which is co-signed by the Arthur Dooley Estate and the Official Arthur Dooley Archive.
Condition: Excellent.
Bronze: 43cm (17inches) high; 24cm (9.5inches) wide.

Only 1 left in stockA finely engraved yellow gold pendant (15ct to 18ct), set with six emeralds suspended from a 9ct gold chain coated with a high purity gold plate.
This item was made during the middle of the reign of Queen Victoria in the third quarter of the 19th Century.
Condition: very good - the heart has a replacement (not gold) jump ring and one of the emeralds has been glued in place.

Only 1 left in stockA rare, Whitefriars "Chess" vase, pattern no. 9817, designed by Geoffrey Baxter as part of his mould-blown relief-textured range. Aubergine is one of the rarest colours for this shape - listed only in the 1972 Whitefriars trade catalogue.
Condition - excellent - crisply moulded with no damages and, other than base wear consistent with age, there are no surface scratches.

#0428 Gustavsberg Art Deco Bowl designed by Wilhelm Kage **Sold** to Switzerland - July 2010
Only 1 left in stockA rare art deco shallow bowl by the designer Wilhelm Kage (1889-1960) who trained under Henri Matisse. This item was probably produced during the 1940s as part of the "Argenta" range by Gustavsberg, Sweden.
Condition -there is surface wear to the silver overlay and there is a chip next to one of the handles and associated light hairline (please see enlargements 6 and 7).
