#0342 Ming Dynasty Roof Ridge Tile Horse & Groom (1368 -1644) *Price on Request*
Only 1 left in stockA rare roof ridge tile figure group consisting of a horse and groom made during the Ming Dynasty (AD 1368 - 1644). We acquired this in early 2004 from the same collection as #0375 in our website.
Condition - unusually very good - age related wear to glazes and minor chipping but no significant losses and no restoration.

稀有的明代(1368-1644)马俑屋顶瓦,品相出乎意料的完好,我们于2004年初将此件与本店第375号藏品一起购进。仅有些许年代久远的磨釉之迹及小磕口,但无明显损伤,亦无修复,器高36cm,长33cm。 -
#0375 Fine Very Rare Ming Celestial Horse & Rider Ridge Tile **Sold** to Taiwan - Sepember 2013 售至台湾 - 2013年 9月
Only 1 left in stockA large and very rare lead glazed earthenware roof ridge tile sculpture depicting a civil official riding a celestial horse with flaring nostrils,bulging eyes and flowing mane. This item was made in Shanxi province, northern China, during the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644). There is a very closely related example on display in the Victoria and Albert Museum in the Architectural section of the new ceramics display on the 5th Floor (No.2) - Museum no. C.13,14 - 1910. (We acquired this item in early 2004 from the same collection as item no. 0342 in our webste).
Condition - there are firing cracks (please see enlargement no.6), chips and some minor very old repairs (additional pictures supplied on request).
Height - 17.5 inches (44.5cm); 14.5 inches (37cm)long.
明代 精美稀有神官天马屋脊大砖
一件陶制三彩神官天马屋脊砖。作于明代山西省。在伦敦维多利亚与阿伯特博物馆五楼陶瓷馆建筑陶瓷部分,有一件与此非常相似的展品(博物馆陈列号C13,14 - 1910)。我们于2004年初将此件与本店第342号藏品一起购进。
品相:有窑裂(见图6),有口磕,细微处有前人修补(如需要我们可提供更多照片)。高44.5厘米,长37厘米。 -
#0860 Late 20th Century Yixing Teapot by Kuai Xin Long **SOLD** February 2019
Only 1 left in stockA finely carved and moulded Zisha clay stoneware teapot with a Tang dynasty style marbed band and with applied leaf and Prunus blossom decoration. This item was made in the vicinity of the city of Yixing, Jiangsu province, in the Yangze River Delta region of eastern China. The base carries the impressed sealmark of its maker Kuai Xin Long born 25th May 1964.
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration.
18cm (7 inches) long; 11.5cm (4.5 inches) high.

Only 1 left in stockA small, well patinated, Yixing stoneware teapot made in China circa 1700 to 1730 during either the Kangxi or Yongzheng reigns. There are no makers or owners seal marks.
Condition - excellent. One minute base chip - no cracks and no resoration.

Only 1 left in stockA small 14th Century green glazed dish decorated inside with a pair of fish - a symbol of marital harmony. This item was made in Longquan county, Zhejiang, during the Yuan Dynasty (1279 to 1368) for the domestic Chinese market.
Condition - there is a glaze imperfection to the interior where there is also a 'kiln iron spot' and there has been good restoration to the foot rim.

#1693 Enamelled Double Bodied Yixing Teapot from China, circa 1880-1920
Only 1 left in stockA ten sided double bodied Yixing stoneware teapot decorated in Scholar's Taste and bearing an inscription in white enamel which reads "Ba Dou Gao Cai" ( which can translate as "Full of Talent") and with "Tian Gong" ("Heavenly Palace" or "Paradise") under pink enamel. This item was made from Zisha clay in Yixing, China, during the late 19th or early 20th Century.
Condition: the single cover has a piece missing and has been broken and glued; no further damages and no restoration.
